This is based on the calculations of a JPMorgan strategist, Dubravko Lakos-Bukas who has done the calculations. Where there are seven of the most prominent companies from the list of 25 names that are at risk of experiencing pressure considering that at least 4% of their sales come from Russia and Ukraine.
The following is a list of 7 companies that will be affected by the Ukraine-Russia conflict:
1.Sylvamo Corporation (SLVM)
This world-class paper company is known to have 16.6% of their sales come from Russia and Ukraine. Sylvamo Corporation is a subsidiary of International Paper, a leading global producer of renewable fiber-based packaging and pulp products with manufacturing operations in North America, Latin America, North Africa and Europe.
They manufacture packaging products that enable worldwide trade, and pulp for diapers, wipes, and other personal hygiene products that promote health and well-being. It is headquartered in Memphis, Tenn. and employs approximately 38,000 coworkers. Net sales for 2020 totaled USD21 billion.
2. Kinross Gold Company (KGC)
Recorded 14% of their sales came from Russia and Ukraine. Kinross Gold Corporation is a Canadian-based gold and silver mining company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
