Aliassime is favorite at Estoril and has Thiem in the parenthesis

The key to the ATP 250 dispute in Estoril, Portugal was drawn recently, with ATP 9th-ranked Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime and 15th-ranked Argentine Diego Schwartzman as the main favorites. Aliassime has Dominic Thiem, 54th, on his way.

Aliassime made his debut in the bye, without playing the first round, against the winner of the match between South African Lloyd Harris, 40th, and a tennis player from the playoffs. In a possible quarter-final, Aliassime could face the former top 3, the Austrian Dominic Theim, who starts against the Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, 59th.

In a possible semi-final, Aliassime would face the fourth seed, the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, 27th, who makes his debut against a tennis player from the qualifications or the Argentinian Federico Coria.

Below the board, Schwartzman made his debut against the winner of the duel between Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena and a top tennis player. In the quarter-finals, the Argentinian can face the current champion of the tournament, the Spaniard Albert Ramos, 6th seed, who makes his debut against the Australian Jordan Thompson.

In a possible semi-final, Schwartzman could face Croatian Marin Cilic, seeded third, who will start against the winner of the duel between Argentina’s Sebastian Baez and Portugal’s João Sousa, the tournament champion in 2018.
