Canadian Football League Releases CFL 2023 Schedule

WINNIPEG, MB. – The Canadian Soccer League (CFL) today unveiled its 2023 schedule and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers open the regular season at home on Friday, June 9 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The home opener is one of two Friday night home games all summer.


Following the opener at home to Hamilton, the Bombers will then travel to Saskatchewan for their second game on the schedule before returning to face the BC Lions at IG Field June 22.

The home schedule includes three Friday night games on June 9, July 7 (vs Calgary) and September 29 (vs Toronto). Four games will be played at IG Field on Thursday night, and two games will be held on Saturday: the annual Banjo Bowl on September 9 and Saturday, October 21 against Edmonton. The club would play seven of the nine regular season home games between the home opener and the Banjo Bowl.

The annual Labor Day Classic and Banjo Bowl will be played September 3 at Regina and September 9 at IG Field.
