Negreanu’s recent bronze medal earned him $124,000. The tournament had 31 participants and the champion was Thai Punnat Punsri, who took home a prize pool of US$310,000. The podium of the dispute was completed by the presence of the American Daniel Colpoys in 2nd place for a prize of 201,500 US$.

The greatest achievement of Negreanu’s career was 2nd place in The Big Where for One Drop at the 2014 WSOP. The $1 million buy-in tournament earned him a colossal $8,288,001 in prize money. The Canadiens’ slate of awards follows with the peak of last year’s Super High Roller Bowl VII, when he pocketed $3,312,000. In all, the player has already touched more than one million US dollars in a tournament in 9 occasions.
