The Co Founder of Tiket.com, Gaery Undarsa said that before establishing Tiket.com he lived in Canada with an established career. But then he decided to return to Indonesia to build the country. According to Gaery, anything can be ‘something’ in Indonesia.

Even though at first he was trying and still trying, finally Gaery was convinced that Tiket.com could become a big company. The initial idea was simple, Gaery wants to make it easier for people who want to order ticket aircraft. In the past, people were quite ‘complicated’ every time Indonesians ordered plane tickets.

Even abroad, there are many online travel business models such as Tiket.com. Therefore, Gaery is confident in the future of his business in the country. Moreover, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands that must be reached by plane.

In the YouTube video “JURUS SAKTI CO-FOUNDER TIKET.COM, BUILDING A COMPANY FROM ZERO TO HUNDRED BILLION VALUE”, Tiket.com was founded in 2011 starting with borrowed capital from a bank (KTA).

For six years running, Tiket.com has been under the auspices of a mentor who was their first angel investor. After that, they had a new partner who brought the big Tiket.com to today.

Gaery revealed that choosing a partner in business is very important. Tiket.com started with 7 people, but now there are only 3 people left.


However, Gaery and the other partners are very solid because they have gone through various times and times together. Gery also gives tips if you want to choose a partner, look for those who can fill our shortcomings or things that we don’t control.

The secret of Tiket.com being successful as it is today is that they prefer to spend more of their budget on Customer Care Service. According to Gaery, customer experience satisfaction is the main thing.

In addition, the inclusion of the Djarum group in Tiket.com has also greatly influenced the success of Tiket.com to this day. In 2017, the Djarum group was already interested in the Tiket.com business model.
