Natasha Jonas will be aiming to win a third world title of the year when she takes on IBF champion Marie-Eve Dicaire at Manchester Arena on November 12, live on Sky Sports.

Jonas will headline bill BOXXER, while Sky viewers will also be able to watch an exhibition of Ricky Hatton’s farewell to Marco Antonio Barrera at a separate event promoted by Europa Combat that same evening.

In February, Jonas jumped three weight classes to beat Chris Namus and win the WBO super welterweight title in spectacular style. Earlier this month in a stunning display in her hometown of Liverpool, she unanimously beat Patricia Berghult to add the WBC title to her collection.

Now he is looking to win a third major championship before the end of the year against Dicaire.

The Canadian has only lost once in his professional career, when he fought Claressa Shields for the undisputed super welterweight championship.

Dicaire bounced back from that to stop Cynthia Lozano and win back the IBF belt she had previously held for three years.

“Once I can establish myself at this level, I just want to stay there and keep performing and keep getting titles,” Jonas said. Sky Sports News.

Ricky Hatton will enter the ring one last time to say goodbye to his loyal Manchester fans in an arena that was home to so many spectacular nights in his career that made him a British boxing legend.

Manchester Arena is the site of his most famous victory, his dramatic victory over Kostya Tszyu in 2005.

Hatton returns for this farewell event in a separate show that will see him take part in an exhibition alongside Marco Antonio Barrera, the Mexican icon best known for his historic trilogy with Erik Morales and many more during his illustrious career.

Tickets purchased for the BOXXER bill in Manchester will also allow access to the Hatton-Barrera exhibition.

Fight night will include an exciting British super-light title fight between Dalton Smith and Kaisee Benjamin.

Former GB Boxing sensation Smith scored an impressive sixth-round win when he made the headlines in Sheffield last month – his third successive long-distance win – to reclaim the vacant title and take his professional win tally in stoppage time to 10.

Benjamin, from Birmingham, has 16 wins from 18 professional appearances and is unbeaten in his last 13 fights. In June, he celebrated a unanimous decision victory over Serge Ambomo at the Coventry Skydome to retain his status as Smith’s mandatory opponent.

BOXXER secured the rights to promote the mandated British championship fight between the two when it won the tender earlier this month.
