Cook got an RBI for the Hornets, while Mayer and Crenshaw combined eight strikes over the mound.

The Demons will now focus their attention on the second half of the season, and the fast approaching postseason. Henry says they will be right back to the lab as they prepare to run.

“Just trying to be more consistent,” he said. “Maintaining energy, but more consistency, and cleaning up some mistakes. Easy stuff, just trying to clean all that up and get ready for the playoffs.”
