The central square Euvaldo Luz, in Shopping Barra, hosts another edition of the Book Fair of Escariz. On site, you can find more than 3,000 titles from different segments suitable for children, young people and adults, such as fables, children’s activity books, short stories, chronicles, geeks, novels, suspense and classics of literature, with prices starting from R $ 5. .
Among the highlights for the little ones are the books of the Histórias do Folclore Brasileiro collection, from the publisher Ciranda Cultural, on Curupira, Iara, Saci-Pererê, in addition to the classics of Monteiro Lobato, a carpet book for coloring and tactile works with sensory stimuli.
Suggestions for teens, youth and adults are also plentiful, such as books that focus on female power, stories featuring orphan Anne, by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery, books by George Orwell, Jules Verne, Oscar Wilde, Arthur Conan Doyle and the classics of Machado de Assis, Eça de Queiroz, Aluísio Azevedo, Euclides da Cunha, among other authors.
The Escariz Book Fair is open to the public until May 28, Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Access is free.
