Besides her, the Blink 182, which was scheduled to headline Saturday night, was canceled after drummer Travis Barker tore a ligament in his finger during tour rehearsals, requiring surgery. Dominic Fike, Omar Apollo and 100 Gecs, originally slated to play the festival, are also in the hall of attractions that let the event down.

Another cancellation also almost happened: Kevin Parker, singer of the group tame Impala, who performed on the Chevrolet Stage on Saturday night, recently suffered a fracture during a half marathon. Still recovering, with hip pins, he insisted on keeping shows and performed on crutches for the public.

However, this is not the first year that the festival has had to scramble to find last-minute replacements. In 2015, Marina and the Diamonds canceled the performance after missing the flight to the country. Last year, the sudden death of the drummer of foo fighters, Taylor Hawkins, on the eve of the festival, had the group’s presentation suspended. In this case, the cancellation was caused by an unforeseen death – which doesn’t appear to be the case for Drake, who has a long history of controversy and disrespect for fans on his resume.
