THAT Women’s National Team Continued, this Saturday (12), preparations for the second friendly match against Canada. After the 2-1 defeat, the team led by coach Pia Sundhage returned to work thinking about the last commitment of the year. The two teams face each other again on Tuesday (15), at 15:15, at the Arena Neo Química, in São Paulo (SP).
Observing the duel preparations, Pia led a training session with the substitute athletes in the duel against Canada. Participating in the activity were goalkeepers Lorena, Letícia and Luciana, defenders Kathellen, Tarciane and Bruninha, midfielders Duda, Yaya and Ana Vitória, and forwards Geyse, Jaque and Gabi Nunes. The rest of the group carried out regenerative activities at the hotel.
The Women’s National Team will have its final training session at Santos this Sunday (13/10), at 11.00 WIB, at CT Rei Pelé. On Monday (14), the team travels to São Paulo, where they will complete preparations for a duel with Canada.
