THAT Brazil Team the women were called up for the next FIFA Date, in February, when they disputed the SheBelieves Cup. Coach Pia Sundhage released the roster this Tuesday at CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
- The big news is Marta’s summons. He had knee surgery in March last year and has not played since.
- The SheBelieves Cup runs from February 13 to 22.
- Brazil will face selection from the United States, Japan and Canada.
- Brazil’s debut against Japan, on February 16, at the Exploria Stadium, in Orlando, at 6 pm (Brasília time). Next, he faces Canada, on the 19th, at GEODIS Park, in Nashville, at 20:30 (Brasília time). In the final, Brazil faces the United States, on the 22nd, at the Toyota Stadium, in Frisco, at 20:30 (Brasília time).
- The competition has teams ranked among the best eleven by FIFA. All of them qualified for the Women’s World Cup.
- The tournament winner will be the winner with the highest number of points in the three matches each team will play.
- The winners in the other editions are the United States (2016, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022), France (2017) and United Kingdom (2019).
The women’s World Cup will be held between July and August this year, in Australia and New Zealand.
