FRIENDSHIP: Results for Vindbjart 2 vary widely. Against Trauma, we returned to a very tight and even match, which ended in a 2-1 win. Prior to the game, Trauma was third, unbeaten, and conceded just two goals in five games.

The home side put in a strong showing, with most of team A not starting an A game before, and Helge Strand showing class after just a quarter of an hour when he got the ball down the right flank, with plenty of space around him. He cut inside and sent a shot with his left foot hard past the goalkeeper, who was standing a few yards off the line. The ball goes under the crossbar.

In the first half of the first half, we had a certain advantage, but Trauma gradually took over and they equalized at Dardan Dreshaj (ex-Start, Fløy, Arendal, etc.). Anders Bjørge had our best chance for number two, but the keeper did a great job as the striker tried to control the ball which came into the air as he went at high speed straight for goal.

Eight minutes into the second half came what was the winning goal. After the Trauma attack, the ball is cleared and sent back and forth high in the air several times. As it made its way towards us, Markus Nyhus put his body to good use, the dueling pair fell to the ground, safety was released, and Nyhus elegantly rolled the ball beyond the keeper and slowly down at the opposite post.

After this, Bjørge attempted a shot, but otherwise we were usually stopped before we had finished the chance. On the opposite flank, Mats Johansen Olsen made some excellent saves, the visitors clearly frustrated at not getting an equaliser, which they should have deserved as the game progressed.

The home team held on and moved up to fourth position. Another game already on Friday, away to Rygene.
