Third edition of Canada Roadshow opens registration in Recife

A differential of this edition of Canada Roadshow is the involvement of digital influencers (Disclosure)

Registration is now open for the third edition of Canada Roadshow, an event that showcases the country as a study and immigration destination. The meeting will take place on September 24, at the Hotel Mar, in Boa Viagem, southern zone of Recife, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event, promoted by Hi Bonjour, the only Canadian and Brazilian agency present from East to West Canada, aims to introduce the public to the processes, conditions and range of universities available for Brazilians to start their project of study abroad. as well as for those who want to start the immigration process. The program includes conferences and a fair that will bring together the main Canadian educational institutions from the most varied provinces. Registration costs R$ 20 and must be done through the canadaroadshow.com.br website.

Canada Roadshow positions itself as the most comprehensive Canadian experience in Brazil for the public to have access to information from official and real sources. “We will also clarify the doubts that permeate the decision-making process of those interested, in addition to being able to benefit from personalized assistance, with the chosen educational institution and the visa and immigration partners”, underlined Thais Della Nina , founder of Hi Bonjour.

A differential of this edition of Canada Roadshow is the involvement of digital influencers who reside in Canada and will be present at the event, talking about their experiences. Among them, Camila Ferreira and Paula Affonso, both from Pernambuco who made their formalities with Hi Bonjour, in addition to Joel Lima who will tell about his daily life in the country that welcomed him as an immigrant.

Currently, Canada faces challenges such as an aging population and a declining birth rate. Immigrants help deal with this by contributing to the growth of the country’s labor force, so immigration has played an important role in building Canada.

“Going to higher education in Canada is the path chosen by many Brazilians considering immigrating to the country. Training at a Canadian institution counts points in Express Entry, the government’s online system for applying to professionals that gives a score for each characteristic of those intending to immigrate (age and family in Canada, for example) “, informed Thais Della Nina.

According to Canadian government data, 11,420 Brazilians were granted permanent residency in Canada in 2021. Of this total, 43.5% immigrated to the country through the Canadian Experience Class, one of three federal government programs part of Express Entry.

The amount raised at the Canada Road Show will go to social projects

Registration for the event costs R$ 20 and the entire amount raised will be donated to three social institutions: the Support Group for Needy Children with Cancer of Pernambuco (GAC-PE), Martagão Gesteira Hospital , a philanthropic institution that helps children and adolescents in Salvador, and the Judah School of Jiu Jitsu, a social project in Camaragibe (PE).
