Team Canada has improved its record to four wins and zero losses at the 2024 Women's World Curling Championship in Sydney, Nova Scotia. On Monday, Canada beat Norway 9-4.

The first half of the game was very even as Canada took a 4-3 lead after five games ended. It was the second half of the game where Canada dominated Norway, as they outscored Norway 5-1 in three final periods from the sixth to the eighth end.

There is no doubt that Homan's team played much better against Norway in the 2024 Women's World Curling Championship than Gimli, Manitoba's Kerri Einarson played against Norway in the 2023 Women's World Curling Championship. Last year, the Norway team led by skip Marianne Rorvik and fourth stoner Kristin Skaslien defeated Einarson's team 8-5 in the semifinals. Einarson's big mistake came in the ninth end when he came out light and allowed Norway to score three points. Homan's squad was more consistent, and they earned a W as a result.

There are three unbeaten teams at the moment. Switzerland 5-0 and Italy 4-0. They will be Canada's two opponents on Tuesday. The other two teams above .500 are Denmark and South Korea. Denmark 4-1 and South Korea 3-1. The only team to beat Denmark was Canada, as Canada beat Denmark 7-4 on Saturday. The only team to beat South Korea was Switzerland with a score of 7-4 on Saturday.
