Taking a higher education course in Canada is the path chosen by many Brazilians who are thinking about immigrating to the country. Training at Canadian institutions counts points in Express Entry, the government’s online system for nominating professionals that assigns a score to each characteristic of those intending to immigrate (age and family in Canada, for example).

According to data from the Canadian government, 11,420 Brazilians received permanent residency in Canada in 2021. Of these, 43.5% immigrated to the country through the Canadian Experience category, one of three federal government programs that are part of Express Entry.

In São Carlos/SP, the event will take place on September 19, Monday, from 19.00 to 21.00, Nacional In São Carlos, located at Av. Getúlio Vargas, 2330, in the neighborhood of Recreio São Judas Tadeu, and will be attended by the following teaching institutions: Sault College, Cambrian College, Georgian College, Fanshawe College.

The amount raised at the Canada Road Show will be used for social projects

Registration for the event costs R$ 20 and the entire amount raised will be donated to three charities: Aid Group for Children in Need of Cancer in Pernambuco (GAC-PE), Martagão Gesteira Hospital, a philanthropic organization serving children and youth in Salvador, and Judah Escola de Jiu Jitsu, social projects in Camaragibe (PE).
