PM removed protesters who made noise in front of the hotel where Lula was staying

This Saturday, the 31st, a man wreaked havoc in front of the hotel where the president-elect and diplomat of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), is staying, in Brasília. The man raised the middle finger to PT supporters and was pushed aside by the Military Police (PM).

According to people who were at the scene, the man cursed the returning protesters with a chorus of “Fora”.

The opposing demonstrator left on police orders and was taken by the arm.

PT Militants began positioning themselves in front of the hotel at around 10.30 WIB. In red flags, shirts and caps, fans chanted “Olê, olê, olê, hello, Lula” and chanted “Lula, warrior of the Brazilian people”.

There was a dispersion around lunchtime, as it rained in the Brazilian capital. However, a location near the hotel again gathered supporters around 15.00.

According to the PM, there are more than 450 militants.

During the day, there was a movement of embassy representatives arriving at the hotel to meet the president who had graduated.

So far, members have arrived from Canada, Chile, Germany, Russia, Guinea Bissau, Spain, South Korea and Japan. Representatives from the US embassy are still awaiting arrival.
