Brothers Noah and Zion Bethônico win their first medal in an official competition

Last weekend was full of Brazilian skateboarding feats. On March 5 and 6, two events were held, one daily, at Snowboard Cross BC Snowboard, near Kelowna, Canada. And brothers Noah and Zion Bethônico won their first medal in an official competition. Each took home a silver medal.

On the first day of the exam, Sion went to Big Final, which had only four athletes, and, with an excellent performance, ended up in second place. The result guaranteed the athlete 56 FIS points, a new personal scoring record. Canada’s Kai Hooper and Jonathan Dabrowski completed the podium. On the 6th, the Brazilian brothers repeated their excellent performance, but reversed the position. Recently, brothers participate in the North American Cup, held at the same location during the month of February. The competition marks the debut of Zion, who is just 16 years old, in international competition.
