Growth and major investment for a small business in Ålesund

Ålesund-based Zegeba is in the middle of an ongoing issue of up to NOK 8 million. Recently, a Canadian investor stepped in with 5.7 million, according to a press release.

Furthermore, it is stated that Zegeba is used daily around the world, among others, on ships, shipyards and construction sites, by equipment suppliers, in manufacturing companies, at world heritage sites of UNESCO and by humanitarian organizations in Africa and Asia. So far this year, Zegeba has seen subscription growth of more than 60 percent and hopes to exceed 70 percent before the end of the year. Next year, the goal is even greater growth per issue, with the aim of strengthening the company's investments and investing internationally.

According to the press release, “Zegeba” means “reporting and recording an incident.” The company says its services enable a quick and easy transition from using paper and files to a fully digital workflow. They provide digital transformation services including a documentation and data capture technology platform for work and work processes performed by people. The platform is so intuitive and user-friendly that no separate coding or lengthy development processes are required.
