CHRISTIAN SPIRIT: Saturday’s home game against rn Horten ended 2-0 on a windy summer day at Cemo Arena. Fly started the game really well and after 20 seconds the home side had a big chance. Defense rn Horten miscalculated the long ball and Mathias Fredriksen came alone with the goalkeeper, but his shot was over.

Fly kept going and after four minutes they took the lead after the aforementioned fine strike from Mathias which sent Kristian Lien alone with the goalkeeper. He was safe as a bank and it was 1-0 to Fly.

rn gradually played more into the game and got his first finish after a header at the back post after 17 minutes of play. rn created their first big chance a few minutes later after a shot from 16 meters went past a Fløy player, which made it difficult for Fløy goalkeeper Ante Knezovic. He hit the ball just over the bar and into the corner.

The game calmed down after this and both teams produced several half chances without creating anything big. Jone Kleppa got his last chance in the first half when he tried to “throw” a volley past the keeper from a corner. Good effort, but the ball just bounced. Overall, Fløy deserved to go into the break with the score 1-0.

After a fresh start to the 2nd half with two-way danger, Fløy received a penalty in the 54th minute, after Lien had been fouled by goalkeeper rn. He corrected the error a minute later with a perfectly qualified save on a penalty kick from captain Bjørnar Hove. After the missed penalty it swung both ways and both teams had great chances. Winger Ante Knezovic had to defend, among other things, with a fantastic double save to prevent scoring.

The match is more open and creates opportunities for two-way counter-attacks. In the 65th minute, Fløy almost hit back to make it 2-0 after a fresh combination between Mathias Fredriksen and Kristian Lien, but the rn goalkeeper made a fine save when he got the aforementioned Lien shot into the corner.

The game calmed down after this opportunity and Fløy went a little deeper into the field to gain more control over the game. It wasn’t until 84 minutes had passed that we got some action. Then Fløy scored with fine strikes from Altin Ujkani and Preben Hille, who took control and made it 2-0. Flyy deserved to win the game with a score of 2-0.
