Canadian rapper dies after falling from plane wing while filming music video – 10/23/2018

Canadian rapper Jon James died last Saturday (20) when he fell from a plane while filming a music video in British Columbia, Canada. He is 34 years old.

In a statement released by local channel CTV, his manager stated that the rapper had “rehearsed intensely” for the maneuver, namely walking on the wing of a plane.

“As Jon headed for the wing, it caused the Cessna to go into a spiral that the pilot couldn't correct. Jon grabbed the wings, but it was too late. When he took it off, he didn't have time to open it. the parachute and the impact killed him instantly.” Moments later, the pilot and plane landed normally. “His love of music videos and doing tricks combined. Jon pushed the song into unexplored territory,” the text continues.

Before starting recording, Jon James posted a series of stories on Instagram. In one of the videos, he highlights that one of the planes had a problem, causing the recording to be delayed.

Kelly Brett, from the local police, said authorities would investigate the case.

Jon James McMurray was born on July 28, 1984 in Calgary, Canada. Apart from music, he often does extreme sports, which resulted in him having to undergo seven operations following back and neck injuries.
