Like Taylor Swift: remember another postponed show in Brazil

The North American singer, Taylor Swift, postponed her second performance of ‘The Eras Tour’ which would have taken place this Saturday evening (18) at the Engenhão Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, about an hour before the show started. In the note released by the artist, his motivation was the high temperatures hitting the capital of Fluminense.

The decision was taken after young Ana Clara Benevides, 23 years old, died of cardiorespiratory arrest. He felt ill at the start of the singer’s performance this Friday (17), was taken to hospital, but did not survive.

  • Foo Fighter – the band was one of the biggest attractions of Lollapalooza in 2022, which took place in São Paulo, however, two days before the show date, drummer Taylor Hawkins died in Bogotá, Colombia.

Remember the case

Ana Clara Benevides, 23 years old, died on Friday evening (17) after falling ill during the first concert of the American singer Taylor Swift, in Rio de Janeiro. The victim is from Mato Grosso do Sul and is studying Psychology at the Federal University of Rondonópolis.

According to her friends, Ana Clara fainted at the start of the show, was rescued but died of cardiac and respiratory arrest. The event organizer, Time For Fun, reportedly banned bottled water from entering the stadium.

On that day, the hot sensation in Rio de Janeiro broke the heat record: 59.3°C.
