Taylor Swift leaves the crowd happy at her 2nd show in Brazil • DOL

After postponing her show this Saturday (18), in Rio de Janeiro, Taylor Swift returned to the Nilton Santos stadium, Engenhão, on Sunday (19), to present the second performance of “The Eras Tour” in Brazil.

The show took place following the death of a fan of the singer and the misfortunes caused by extreme heat in Rio de Janeiro and much of the country this week. On Friday, about a thousand fans fainted at the American tour’s debut show in the country, and student Ana Clara Benevides, 23, died after feeling ill during the performance. Taylor Swift didn’t talk about her death on Sunday’s show.

But as soon as Swift took the stage, the audience welcomed her with open arms. The first chords of “Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince”, the first song on the setlist, already brought a lot of screams and applause from the audience.

The next song, “Cruel Summer”, was followed hard by the fans. Something the singer acknowledged, stating “it is an honor to say this tonight, with so many people accompanying me in this rain”. “Rio, welcome to The Eras Tour. You have supported me a lot since the beginning of my career.”

The next block celebrates her second studio album, “Fearless”, where the singer sings the songs “You Belong with Me”, one of her first hits, and “Love Story”.

It was the clothes that Swift wore this time that inspired many of her fans when choosing clothes to watch her show.

This is the case of Sydney Jacobson, 21 years old from Canada, who crossed the ocean to watch the “Eras Tour” with her boyfriend, Keegan Bushulak, also 21 years old.

The outfits, he said, were easy to find on the internet, and the characterization effort also had his partner dressed in keeping with the aesthetic of the singer’s fourth studio album, “Red.”

Discretion in dress really stands out among the people present at Engenhão. Another example is personnel department assistant Lery Gomes, who brought his daughter Ana Luiza, 13, from Ribeirão das Neves, in Minas Gerais, to the show.

On her body, as the teenager wore a personalized blouse with the art “Eras Tour”, her mother decided to be bold and wrote “Swiftie’s Mother” in the place where the singer’s name would appear. The artist’s photo was exchanged for a photo of the girl when she was little.

“Very happy and moved to see his joy. Gratitude is the word that defines me,” said Gomes.

In the next block, as the American performer sang songs from her ninth studio album, “Evermore”, the audience took the opportunity to create a circanda, while Swift sang the song “Willow”. The idea was to refer to the circles that formed on the stage itself, as choreography for the song.

Before “Champagne Problems,” his next song, the singer reiterated his Friday speech and once again thanked the public for their presence despite the rain. The public responded, shortly after the song finished, with chants of “Taylor, I love you”, following which the singer made her comeback and became emotional with the audience.

However, it was when the snakes appeared on the screen that the audience cheered the most. These snakes refer to the singer’s sixth album, “Reputation”, an album that was loved by the public.

A string of hits came next, with the songs “Ready for It”, “Delicate”, “Don’t Blame Me” and “Look What You Made Me Do”.
